R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a journey of faith for those who wish to become members of the Roman Catholic Church.
Roman Catholics who desire to deepen their faith through study and update are invited to join as sponsors or to refresh/renew their knowledge of the Faith. Individuals who wish to return to the practice of the Faith are also welcome to join this process. Those who wish to be baptized, confirmed and receive the Eucharist are called Catechumens. Those who have been baptized but have not received the Eucharist or been confirmed are called Candidates.
Roman Catholics, age 18 and older who have not completed the process of preparation for the sacrament of the Eucharist or Confirmation are also invited to join the RCIA. The RCIA meets on Sundays from 10:30 am to noon at St. Joseph Hall.
